Replaced ane TDI with another.
Just had it a few weeks, dearest information technology then far. Heavier than the Jetta sedan it replaced, so feels a little less powerful, but just equally fun to drive.

I similar manual transmissions, this 1's polish as silk, the TDI gets 44-49 mpg, with the all-time visibility I've had in a car. Bought used with a long warranty. VW's tin be expensive if things get wrong, only they rarely do.

This was a replacement of my 2012 Jetta tdi. I really did non want to go to a gas model equally I love(d) my Jetta tdi. I considered doing the modification on the Jetta just I was concerned there wasn't enough feedback from people all the same. The 2015'due south that had received the modification had enough feedback to warrant my consideration. I test drove a car with twenty, 700 miles that was certified pre-owned by WV. I've had the motorcar for one week and here's what I found: 1. There is some weird chirping (like crickets) when I start the car. ii. I have an intermittent warning lite that has no o do with the steering. 3. It does non advance as fast as the 2012 Jetta. four. I'chiliad unsure of what mpg I'm getting but my beginning take is that it'southward 10 mpg less so the Jetta (so around 38 vs 48 highway). 5. The golf is much nicer so the Jetta style and feature wise. The ride is smoothen. 6. A couple big disadvantages to me are the back seat is a bench (vs the removable buckets on the Jetta) and the dorsum doesn't similar flat (as information technology would upon removal of the Jetta seats). This means my dog crates are on an angle. It also meant I had to size downwardly 1 of my crates to take the same configuration every bit I did in the jetta. My biggest business organisation is how WV dealerships ascertain "certified pre-owned". They didn't do the 20k mile inspection (even though information technology only has 20,700 mile), the back window has an odd peeling of the mill moving-picture show (and they are fighting me on fixing it), there was sa crack in the windshield that I must take missed and a cleaved lever. I know it is a used car but these things should take been caught by whomever does the certification. At this point I can not say if I would recommend it or not. If the fixes are easy and painless and if my mileage improves, then yes. If not, then keep your other TDI and do the set or buy some other brand if you don't care almost diesel

We wanted to supercede our 2006 Saturn Vue AWD and 2015 VW Passat 1.8T with 1 machine that had virtually as much room as the Vue, and nearly the same mileage every bit the Passat. The Sportwagen is about the same size, and the TDi Sportwagon gets even better mileage than the Passat.

I'm averaging more 50 mpg on trips! My Golf sport railroad vehicle is quiet and comfortable. The stereo is very skillful for stock. The seats are supportive but non loftier terminate like premium European cars. Only I will accept a VW over those premium brands any solar day. I paid a third of what a like BMW 3 series wagon with a Diesel engine would cost. The TDI is a fantastic engine and it'southward so placidity that you forget that it'south a Diesel. I feel like nosotros got a great deal. No regrets.

I sold my 2013 TDI Sportwagen back to VW equally part of the TDI settlement, and replaced it with this new 2015 TDI model a calendar week after. For those non up to speed, there are a limited number of these new TDI'due south available later the EPA approved them for sale this past wintertime. I put 121,000 miles on my previous TDI in 3-1/two years with only scheduled maintenance, and it still drove like it was new. And so far the 2015 is exceeding my expectations compared to the 2013. This is the perfect replacement for a modest SUV, and I owned a Honda CR-Five. Gas mileage is running about 43 mpg, and the car is more fun to drive than any other fuel efficient vehicle out there. I bulldoze for efficiency on my 50 mile commute, and utilise it for route trips, but when I need to giddy up and go, the power is there. In the words of Ferris Buehler, it is and then choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking i upwardly.

They've finally stock-still the 2015 Golf TDI's emissions and put and so up for sale at a greatly reduced price. What a deal! Very comfortable with decent acceleration and ability - keen looks! Lots of room with the rear seats in place, and lot more with the seats folded (non quite) flat. Except for the central brandish, controls straightforward and easy to use. Keyless entry and locking is wonderful, but keyless offset could be better. The Start (and STOP) button is located on the center console, and can easily be pushed accidentally while driving, especially if you lot conduct canines. I'm looking for a button baby-sit to forestall accidental engine shutoff, but haven't plant one nevertheless. I might demand to make my own. First trip to the beach yielded fifty.5 mpg. Around town, with all the traffic lights in this area, notwithstanding gets 32 mpg. Only take about k miles and so far, but we dear this car!

This motorcar exceeds my expectations for comfort, ride and mpg. I've been a manual transmission person my entire life but the 6 speed automatic/transmission is and so much fun to bulldoze, I actually don't miss it. In sport way, upwardly shifting is washed later and downward shifting before. Manual 6 gear shift command is available in manual mode although the shift activeness is a crash-land forward or back vs the traditional 6-speed blueprint. MPG for this diesel far exceeds EPA rating on the stricker. I'm entirely impressed and hope VW does go on to market these diesels in the The states.

I'm amazed how many miles nosotros get from a 13 gallon tank of fuel! Had to remove a piece that is designed to prevent you from filling with regular gas, but was easy to exercise. Sunroof is great, interior is comfortable and fashionable, overall a great niggling wagon. I had to travel 4 hours to go it as the SEL model was sold out in my habitation state.

Fantastic car. Comfortable, slap-up diesel mileage and very fun to bulldoze. If you lot tin can observe one, become it because if will most likely be the last diesel from VW in United states of america. Dandy cargo capacity but drives like a sports car.

1st time I've e'er owned a VW. Surprised how much better it is compared to oriental built vehicles.. It has plenty of pep and is an ideal substitution for a compact SUV. Bought this 2015 sportswagon TSI South model in Apr 2015. Gas milage is very good, I'm getting 27-28 mpg city and close to 36 highway. It's fun to drive and very comfortable. I plan on keeping this vehicle 4-5 years.

Ive been eyeing and waiting to run into what VW was going to practice with the 2015 TDI'South in stock. Well they gave 5000.00 off MSRP plus six years involvement free. So i bought a Golf sport wagon and sold back my 2009 Jetta TDI. tough to exercise I actually liked the machine but they gave me 11000.00 back plus interest free for 6 years my payments are 42.00 cheaper than the 2009( when I was making payments) and I got a newer car with a warranty.

I bought this car (TDI 6speed Southward model) in September 16 with 50 miles off the lot. Now at the end of March I have nearly 20k. Yes I bulldoze a lot. This auto takes over as the family'south primary vehicle from an 05 Jetta TDI with 240K, and that is still running well too. Except for the disappointment with the emissions scandal I dearest this motorcar. I average 46-49mpg in mixed driving. Simply a minor mirror command trouble and sometimes the bluetooth is a fleck finicky, but this car can handle my wife 3 kids and a dog and all our stuff. Nimble and responsive ride it's a joy to drive. If VW gets the diesel fuel thing squared abroad I'd buy another ane tomorrow.

I have the TDI equally well. Love the the auto a ton. I would take bought gas had I known well-nigh all the hassle. That said, the diesel is pretty great. Hopefully there's a good, simple software fix for the 15s and 16s. They're supposed to take the right kind of emissions hardware. Anyways, handling is fantastic, storage is great, technology is good. Fuel economy for the TDI is far amend than EPA (maybe for valid reasons). Looks are slightly better than boilerplate. In all, it'southward a slap-up value... at the Due south and SE trim levels. The suspension is tuned pretty tight, which results in not bad handling simply some bumpiness here and there.

I love this wagon and I accept nothing bad to say except that mine is a Diesel fuel and by now we have all heard of the scandal about "cheating software". Except for that I still like everything nigh it and volition probably switch to a gasoline model erstwhile in the near hereafter. All aspects including ride, handling, braking, commuter assistance work seamlessly. In spite of its solid beam beam, handling is sports car similar. The ride is compliant, quiet and relaxed while maintaining splendid feedback. The brakes a little touchy or maybe over boosted merely fade free. Remember all of the major machine companies accept had some legal issues of late and then I won't let the diesel mess kill my enthusiasm for VW.

Owns this car
Overview: We looked around for a auto that tin booty a few things. Our search aside of the VW included a Mazda CX-5, an Audi Q5, Toyota Highlander, and Subaru Forester. Pros: The first thing we noticed is the build quality. The outside and interior of the VW felt much more than premium than its price suggests. While the CX-v delivered more for the money, information technology felt like an upgraded Mazda, where the VW feels more like an Audi, merely without the sky-high price. Definitely doesn't accept all the gadgets (we fully loaded ours - TDI SEL), but the premium look and feel, especially with the lighting parcel, sold us and I don't care for the driving "nannies" which in fact accept non shown to be safer anyway. The diesel is really the evidence'due south main act, making y'all realize how effortless those 236 lb ft of torque pull. Its extremely linear and never seems to tire. All that with a heed-blowing 49.4 MPG on our latest 80 mile trip from CT to our home in Brooklyn (and so obviously some finish-and-get traffic involved, otherwise we would have broken l for sure). I dear how information technology drives, handles, and how effortlessly it moves one time by first gear. Cons: First gear tin exist a niggling slow to appoint at times, and while the steering is accurate, information technology sometimes feel a bit light sometimes. The infotainment... Ugh! Between the cable and the wearisome NAV, it really feels behind the times. And that iphone cable is just astonishingly bad with its proprietary connectedness that never seems to work well. Some options I wish I could get: auto-dimming mirror, power liftgate, cooled seats. Diesel with AWD would exist fantastic, but I would still pick diesel fuel over having AWD in the upcoming Alltrack. Conclusion: I honey this machine overall and would buy again in a heartbeat. The interior is luxurious, the diesel is unbelievably smooth and powerful yet tranquillity. Going 75, you barely experience or hear information technology and the engine never whines in protest. Top it all off with Prius-besting 49 highway MPG, and I can't think of a better parcel out there.
